Steven Camp, MD

Dr. Camp grew up in San Antonio, Texas and earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University with Honors. Dr. Camp attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center, School of Medicine for his medical degree and followed with a rigorous General Surgery residency at the highly respected Carolinas Medical Center. This residency provided a more comprehensive understanding of how to operate, treat and repair complex conditions including the breast, body, head and neck. Early in his surgical training Dr. Camp developed a special interest in treating plastic surgery patients and the ability to restore both form and function. Dr. Camp gained broad surgery training with a significant exposure to trauma and cancer-related surgical conditions.

Dr. Camp trained at the University of Utah for his plastic surgery residency and received comprehensive training in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. During his training, Dr. Camp led multiple research projects resulting in publication in leading plastic surgery journals and presentations at annual meetings.  Of specific note and relevance to his practice were publications focused on non-invasive injectable treatments to the mid-face and cheeks as well as studies on fat-graft survival.  Dr. Camp has also authored papers on the impact of social media in plastic surgery and how utilizing the digital medium will positively impact patient safety and doctor-to-patient one on one interaction real time.

Following his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Camp completed an aesthetic fellowship with a concentration in breast augmentation, body contouring, and facelift procedures at the Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute under the direction of the highly regarded plastic surgeon and president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Dr. Daniel C. Mills, II in Laguna Beach, California. It was during this aesthetic fellowship that Dr. Camp refined his skills in the latest techniques in breast surgery, body contouring and minimally invasive treatments.  Of great importance is the continued mentorship and fellowship received from Dr. Mills that adds to Dr. Camp’s robust understanding of how to care for the aesthetic surgery patient.

In 2012, Dr. Camp began practice in Fort Worth, Texas with an office located in the Fort Worth medical district. An emerging leader in the field, Dr. Camp has extensive experience with the latest techniques in cosmetic surgery including abdominoplasty, blepharoplasty, and breast surgeries including augmentation, lift surgery and reconstruction.  He also performs cosmetic facial surgery, facelifts, fat grafting, liposuction and other cosmetic surgeries that align with patient needs and profiles to enhance the natural beauty of his patients.

Dr. Camp and wife Sara say their proudest work though is caring for their family Zoe (5), Winston (2) and their rescue pup Yates.
