Look Younger and Refreshed with Total Facial Rejuvenation

Look Younger and Refreshed with Total Facial Rejuvenation

Lisa Reid is a busy working mom with three children. She runs around constantly with her kids, taking them to school and their events.  In her “off time” she stays  busy helping run the family business.  She’s never had a lot of time to think about herself, but as she entered into her mid-40’s, she started seeing some signs of aging that she never noticed before. That’s when she decided it was time for a little help.

Botox and Fillers

Dr. Jennifer JordanLisa decided to try Botox and fillers, something she’d heard a lot about, but never really considered.  Lisa scheduled an appointment with Dr. Jennifer Jordan, a board certified E.N.T., who is trained in facial rejuvenation.

“Lisa came in concerned with the lines on her forehead and she felt like she was still frowning when she wasn’t'” says Dr. Jordan.  A few quick and virtually painless injections later; problem number one solved! Dr. Jordan injected Lisa’s forehead and around the outer corner of her eyes with Botox where she had some wrinkles. Botox works by paralyzing the muscles in the face and keeps you from frowning and making more wrinkles.

Total Facial Rejuvenation“I always listen to a patient first and find out what they’re bothered by.  Sometimes patients like Lisa, have another area of aging that’s more prominent, but don’t know what can be done to address the issue,” says Jordan. Dr. Jordan ended up injecting Lisa’s nasolabial folds as well,  and that’s what Lisa loved most about her facial rejuvenation. “I never really thought much about those lines, but that’s what made the biggest difference,” says Lisa.

Dr. Jordan used Juvederm to fill in Lisa’s nasolabial folds and injected  two small areas around her jawline. “Around the jaw is where many patients benefit from Juvederm,” says Jordan. “It can smooth out the jawline where you typically see some jowling or laxity of the skin.”  The idea behind filler is to add volume back to the face.  At Lisa’s age, most patients don’t quite need a facelift, they are just beginning to lose some volume.

The Importance of Good Skincare

One week later Lisa is back for her “after” photos and the results speak for themselves. “This is something I will definitely continue. I’ve used other products before, but nothing gave me results like this!”  This was Lisa’s response after trying a new line of skin care called Teoxane.

Before and After - Facial Rejuvenation

“It’s a product that comes from Geneva, Switzerland,” says Dr. Jordan.  It’s new here, but Teoxane has been very popular for years in Europe. What makes this line of skincare different from anything else on the market is an ingredient called Resilient Hyaluronic Acid or RHA.  Hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin and helps the skin cells repair themselves. You’ll also find hyaluronic acid in fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane. “Not only is Teoxane a good skin care line for every skin type and every patient, it also works really well in conjunction with fillers,” explains Jordan.

“I love the skincare and the hydration is amazing,” states Lisa.  It’s like nothing I’ve ever tried.”   So if you find your face is looking older or aging faster than you’d like, you might want to look into some non-surgical options. These options can take years off your looks and give you the boost of confidence you need to carry on with your busy schedule.
