Dr. Richard J. Zienowicz, MD, FACS
As an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Brown University, I also have the responsibility of training young plastic surgeons including medical students from Brown Medical School. I have trained at some of the finest medical institutions in the world including the Cleveland Clinic, Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital and my alma mater, Brown. I am an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I am board-certified in three specialties.
I was honored to have done live surgery for over 400 surgeons from more than 20 countries at the world’s most prestigious breast meeting held yearly in Atlanta, Georgia last year, which includes the world’s finest esthetic surgeons. I have been featured in Rhode Island Monthly’s Top Doctors five times. In the past several years I have been asked to teach all over the world as an expert in breast and body contouring surgery in many countries from Brazil to Japan. One of my greatest joys in life is restoring my patient’s self-image.
When I’m not in surgery, I enjoy golfing, working out, and playing in a rock band comprised of other surgeons. You can often find me at my kid’s Lacrosse and Soccer games or watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins.
