Sameer Halani, MD

Dr. Sameer Halani is a plastic surgeon with a deep-rooted passion for facial aesthetic surgery, specializing in deep plane facelifts and deep neck lifts, along with comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Known for his precision, artistry, and commitment to natural, elegant results, Dr. Halani is sought after for his advanced techniques in facial rejuvenation that restore youthful definition while preserving individual identity.

In addition to facial surgery, Dr. Halani also has a strong focus on breast and body aesthetic surgery, offering procedures such as breast rejuvenation, body contouring, and revision surgery. His approach emphasizes balance and harmony across all areas of aesthetic surgery.

A New Jersey native and the son of Indian-immigrant parents, Dr. Halani began his academic journey at Emory University, later earning a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine. He returned to Emory University School of Medicine for medical school, graduating Cum Laude and earning induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. His commitment to research and excellence was recognized with an NIH grant, which funded both his clinical research and a second Master’s degree in Clinical Research.

Dr. Halani completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and Parkland Hospital, the nation’s top-ranked plastic surgery training program at the time. There, he refined his expertise in aesthetic surgery and received several honors, including the 2022 Best Paper of the Year Award in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery for his work in head and neck reconstruction.

Today, Dr. Halani’s practice is centered on delivering refined, natural-looking results in both facial and body procedures. His dedication to the deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, and breast rejuvenation places him at the forefront of modern aesthetic plastic surgery. He also serves as a reviewer in the field’s major journals, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

He currently practices alongside renowned breast and body surgeon Dr. Yuki Nakamura in Arlington, Texas. Outside the operating room, Dr. Halani enjoys studying the biochemistry of wine, playing competitive tennis and golf, and exploring the world with his partner, Dr. Amanda Garza, also a surgeon
