The COVID-19 pandemic led to a sharp increase in plastic surgery. This may seem surprising to outsiders looking in, but those in the industry aren’t too surprised. Everyone would like to look a little better, a little more refreshed, but often the limiting factor is time; it’s difficult to have the time at home to recover from a surgical procedure. What then could be the perfect excuse to finally get something done? Forced to stay at home for months per the pandemic.

On the latest PSC Media Wire, board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Kristi Hustak of Houston describes the fairly incredible increase in surgical procedures her practice performed over the last year and whether or not the same boon occurred with non-surgical procedures, such as Botox and fillers.
