When is the Best Time to Start Laser Treatments?

Cosmetic laser treatments directed at smoothing skin and removing blemishes and pigmentation issues have been around for quite awhile, but only in the past 5-10 years has their power truly been available. The number of lasers has grown, what they can do has expanded, and the tried-and-true methods have been massively improved upon. This situation has led to incredible results, both for those with minor damage looking to “prejuvenate” and those with significant wear and tear hoping for help.

While this is all very exciting, the question then becomes, “When is the best time to start laser treatments?” On the latest PSC Uncut, board certified plastic surgeons Dr. Duncan Hughes of Raleigh and Dr. Jason Pozner of Boca Raton discuss cosmetic lasers and when they think certain types of patients should start their rejuvenation journey.
