Breast Implants Used to Smuggle Drugs

Talk about expensive breast implants; these cocaine filled implants have a street value of close to $100,000.  Spanish authorities recently arrested a Panamanian woman at the Barcelona airport apparently trying to smuggle cocaine into Barcelona.

According to the Associated Press, border police noticed fresh scars and blood-stained gauze on her chest. The woman said she had recently had breast implant surgery. Police sent her to a local hospital where the implants were removed and nearly three pounds of cocaine was found inside her implants. She was taken to jail on drug trafficking charges.
