No Spin Live Episode 56 – Restricted Textured Implants and 7 Trends for 2019

No Spin Live host Dr. William P. Adams Jr. welcomes board certified plastic surgeons Dr. Jason Pozner of Boca Raton, Dr. Lee Thornton of Mississippi, Dr. Dan Del Vecchio  of Boston, and Dr. Anup Patel of Orlando to discuss the latest in plastic surgery news.

In this episode, the experts discuss the latest update to the textured implant and Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma story – one of the biggest in global plastic surgery from 2018. BIA-ALCL is a rare but real “cancer” that research has found tends to happen more often with textured implants. The latest response to this finding is France’s FDA counterpart selecting to ban certain textured implants from Allergan.

Additionally, the panel addresses a blogger’s claim that breast implants can cause body odor, acne, and weight gain, as well as discussing the 7 latest trends in plastic surgery projected for 2019. All of this and more on the latest episode of No Spin Live!
